Martyrdom Day: Guru Teg Bahaddur Singh
Guru Tegh Bahadhur was 9th guru and head Sikh faith. He was beheaded by Aurangazeb’s orders. Reason for beheading was that he did not agree to convert to Islam. His Son Guru Govind Singh and all his 4 sons were martyred while fighting back Surangazeb. Delhi’s Chandani Chowk is the place where he was beheaded. Continue Reading
